Lumen Elementary School

Lumen Elementary traces its origins to April 1909, when it opened as "Lumasan Public School" — a four-year school with four classes, under first principal Hosokawa Sutejiro, a Japanese educator. The school was renamed several times through Taiwan's changing eras: to "Lumasan National School" in 1941, "Zhuqi Township Second National School" in 1946 after Taiwan's retrocession, "Lumen National School" of Chiayi County's Zhuqi Township in 1950, and finally to its current name in 1968. With over a century of documented history — including its school emblem, flag, and anthem across generations of principals and alumni — the school celebrated its 79th graduating class in June 2024.

鹿滿國小創校於明治42年（1909年）4月，初名「鹿麻產公學校」，為四年制、四班規模的學校，首任校長為日籍教育家細川捨次郎。歷經數次更名：昭和16年（民國30年，1941年）改稱「鹿麻產國民學校」；台灣光復後，民國35年（1946年）2月改為「竹崎鄉第二國民學校」；民國39年（1950年）改為「嘉義縣竹崎鄉鹿滿國民學校」；民國57年（1968年）始定現名「鹿滿國民小學」。學校擁有逾百年的校史文獻，包括校徽、校旗、校歌，記錄了歷任校長與校友的傳承，並於2024年6月慶祝第79屆畢業生。
