A century of schooling in the tea hills.
Wenchang Elementary School was originally established in January 1920, during the Japanese colonial era, as a satellite classroom of the school system centered in nearby Zhushan. Over the following century it grew into an independent school, and today it serves the Zhulin Village and Zhufeng Village school districts of Lugu Township, Nantou County.
