Longtan Senior High School

Longtan Senior High School traces its roots to 1924, when it opened as "Longtan Agricultural Supplementary School" during the Japanese colonial era — one of the oldest schools in the district. Over the following decades it passed through several transformations, from vocational school to comprehensive high school, before becoming a standard senior high school in 2013. It still runs technical and vocational tracks in agriculture, horticulture, machinery, electrical engineering, and food processing, a direct legacy of its origins. Its teaching building was rebuilt and completed in 2011, and the school shifted from national to municipal governance in 2018. As of 2017 figures, it enrolled roughly 1,400 students across 45 classes.

龍潭高中的歷史可追溯至日治時期大正13年（1924年）創立的「龍潭農業補習學校」，是區內歷史最悠久的學校之一。歷經數十年演變，從職業學校到綜合高中，於民國102年（2013年）改制為一般高級中學，至今仍延續其農業教育傳統，開設農業、園藝、機械、電機、食品加工等技職學程。教學大樓於2011年完成重建，並於2018年由國立改隸為市立高中。依2017年資料，全校約有1,400餘名學生、45個班級。
