A small school steeped in tea.
Longshan Elementary was founded in November 1955 and is designated a remote-area school in Zhuqi Township. Its best-known program is "Little Tea Master" (小小泡茶師), a tea-brewing certification course in which every participating student has passed certification — a direct reflection of the tea-growing culture surrounding the school. Longshan also runs environmental and gender-equality education, mother-tongue instruction, English theater, and calligraphy competitions, and has an attached kindergarten.
