Lize Junior High School

Lize Junior High is located in Chengxing Village, within the historic Lize (利澤簡) area — one of Yilan's oldest Han Chinese settlement zones and once a busy river port along the old Dongshan River trade routes. While the junior high's own founding date is not directly confirmed, its affiliated Lize Elementary School traces its origins to 1899, underscoring just how long this area has served as a hub of education and commerce. The school sits near Lize Simple Old Street, a historic commercial street that still reflects the area's trading-post past.

利澤國中座落於成興村，位於歷史悠久的利澤簡地區——宜蘭最早期的漢人聚落之一，昔日曾是舊時冬山河貿易路線上繁忙的河港。雖然利澤國中本身的創校年代未經直接證實，但其姊妹校利澤國小的歷史可追溯至民國前13年（1899年），足見此地作為教育與商業中心的悠久歷史。學校鄰近利澤簡老街，這條歷史商業老街至今仍保有昔日河港貿易市集的風貌。
