Liujiao Elementary School

Liujiao Elementary School was originally established in 1918 as "Suantou Public School Liujiaodian Branch School," a branch of Suantou Public School, during the Japanese colonial era, becoming independent in 1920 as Liujiaodian Public School. A severe flood in 1921 destroyed the original school building, prompting relocation to the current site. The school was renamed Liujiao National School in 1941, and became Liujiao Elementary School of Liujiao Township in 1974. It absorbed Xinsheng Elementary School as a branch in 2006 (fully integrating it in 2017) and integrated Bengshan Branch in 2011, reflecting a broader trend of smaller rural branch schools in the township merging into it over recent decades.

六腳國小創立於1918年，日治時期原名「蒜頭公學校六腳佃分校」，隸屬蒜頭公學校，於1920年獨立設校為六腳佃公學校。1921年一場嚴重水災摧毀原校舍，促使學校遷至現址。1941年更名為六腳國民學校，1974年（民國63年）改稱六腳鄉六腳國民小學。學校於2006年將新生國小納為分校（2017年完全整併），並於2011年整併笨山分校，反映近數十年鄉內小型分校陸續整併的趨勢。
