Taipei Municipal Lishan Junior High School

Taipei Municipal Lishan Junior High School traces its start to a preparatory office that opened on August 11, 1978. The school was formally established on August 1, 1979, and began full operations the following year, on July 18, 1980. Lishan Junior High shares its "Lishan" (麗山, "beautiful mountain") name and general neighborhood with the later-built Lishan Senior High School, founded in 2000, and Lishan Elementary School, founded in 1988 — together forming a three-school Lishan cluster in Neihu's hilly eastern terrain.

麗山國中的籌備處成立於民國67年（1978年）8月11日，學校於民國68年（1979年）8月1日正式設校，並於隔年民國69年（1980年）7月18日全面運作。麗山國中與後來成立的麗山高中（創校於2000年）及麗山國小（創校於1988年）共用「麗山」校名與所在區域，三校共同構成內湖東側丘陵地帶的「麗山」學校群。
