Lili Elementary School was founded in 1911, during the Japanese colonial era, and its catchment area today spans three Paiwan tribal communities: Lili, Guichong, and Qijia. With a predominantly Paiwan student body, the school promotes ethnic and indigenous education alongside its academic program, and is especially known for its traditional dance troupe, which won an “excellent” award at a national dance competition, and its soccer team, a regular top-three finisher in county competitions.
力里國小創校於明治44年（1911年）日治時期，學區涵蓋力里、歸崇、七佳三個排灣族部落。學生以排灣族為主，學校積極推動民族教育與學生特色發展，其中傳統舞蹈隊曾於110學年度全國舞蹈競賽榮獲優等，足球隊亦經常在縣內比賽中名列前三。

Its catchment includes the Qijia community, home to the Laochijia (老七佳) slate-house settlement — one of the best-preserved traditional Paiwan slate-house (石板屋) villages in Taiwan, where ceremonies such as the harvest festival and the five-year ancestral-spirit ritual (maljeveq) are still practiced today.
