Lijia Elementary School

Lijia Elementary serves Lijia village in Beinan Township, whose traditional name, Likavung, reflects the area's Puyuma Indigenous heritage. Since 1999 the school has held an annual on-campus music concert, a tradition now running for more than two decades that has become a fixture of community life. The village itself is known beyond the school as the gateway to the Lijia Forest Trail, a popular hiking and nature destination that draws visitors from across Taitung to the scenic hills surrounding the campus.

利嘉國小服務卑南鄉利嘉村，其傳統地名「Likavung」反映出此地深厚的卑南族原住民淵源。自1999年起，學校每年舉辦校園音樂會，這項傳統已延續超過二十年，成為社區生活的重要一環。利嘉村本身也因鄰近知名的利嘉林道而聞名，這條熱門的健行步道吸引全台東各地遊客造訪校園周邊的優美山林。
