Lantan Elementary, named for the scenic reservoir and park it sits beside, has built a campus rich in facilities: a library, athletic field, golf practice area, basketball court, dance room, a virtual film studio, and a school observatory. Alongside its academic program, it runs an unusually varied set of extracurriculars, including a violin club, ukulele club, dance club, broadcasting club, dodgeball team, and a Hakka-culture feature-school program, and regularly holds joint community sports events with neighboring residents as part of its anniversary celebrations.
