Renai Elementary School opened in September 1951 as the "Caoya Branch" (草衙分校) of Cianjhen National School, becoming an independent school on March 1, 1952. It is one of the oldest elementary schools in Cianjhen District, and its facilities were later borrowed by both Mingzheng Elementary and Fugong Elementary during their own founding years — a small but telling sign of how deeply this school is woven into the district's educational history. Its origin as the "Caoya Branch" ties it to Caoya, one of Cianjhen's original Qing-era hamlets near the harbor.
仁愛國小於民國40年（1951年）9月以「草衙分校」名義自前鎮國民學校分出設立，民國41年（1952年）3月1日獨立設校，是前鎮區歷史最悠久的國小之一。日後明正國小與佛公國小在草創時期，都曾借用仁愛國小的校舍上課，足見這所學校在地方教育發展史上的深厚淵源。其「草衙分校」的起源，也將它與前鎮清代原始聚落之一的草衙緊密相連。
