Dakanuwa, a village spared by Morakot.
Minsheng Elementary is located in Dakanuwa (達卡努瓦) village. Unlike neighboring Minquan Elementary School, whose original campus was buried in the 2009 Morakot landslides, Minsheng's hillside and campus escaped structural damage — one of the district's original-site schools still standing on its founding ground.
