Juguang Elementary School

Juguang Elementary's exact founding date is not precisely confirmed, but the school celebrated its 49th anniversary during the 2025 academic year, placing its founding at around 1977. Its name, "Juguang" (莒光), derives from the idiom "毋忘在莒" ("Never forget Ju"), a story of resilience often invoked during Taiwan's martial-law era — one of many politically inflected school names common to that period. As of the 2022–23 academic year, the school had 42 classes and 1,086 students, with specialized rooms for energy education, social studies, comprehensive activities, English, and an all-weather sports court.
