Zhongzheng Junior High School

Zhongzheng Junior High was originally founded in 1964–65 as "Keelung Municipal Fifth Junior High School" (基隆市立第五初級中學), temporarily housed at the National Taiwan Ocean University campus before moving to its current site beside Zhongzheng Park. It took its present name, Zhongzheng Junior High, in 1968. In recent years the school has been designated Keelung's international education task-center school, and beginning with the 2022 school year it has been transforming into a bilingual school. It also runs a folk sports class teaching diabolo, jump rope, and top-spinning, whose team has been invited to perform abroad.

中正國中最初於民國53至54年（1964–1965年）創立，校名為「基隆市立第五初級中學」，初期曾借用國立臺灣海洋大學校地上課，後遷至現址中正公園旁。民國57年（1968年）更名為現今的「中正國民中學」。近年來，學校獲指定為基隆市國際教育任務學校，自111學年度（2022年）起逐步轉型為雙語學校。校內並開設民俗體育班，教授扯鈴、跳繩與陀螺，其團隊曾獲邀出國表演。
