Chenggong Elementary School

Chenggong Elementary was originally founded in 1941, under Japanese rule, as a branch campus of Keelung Shou National School — today's Xinyi Elementary. It became an independent school in September 1958 to serve Ren'ai District's growing population, as neighboring schools had reached capacity. By 1962 it had grown to more than 60 classes, making it, for a time, the largest elementary school in Keelung. The school took its current name in 1968, and in 1986 completed a large student activity center with a library, concert hall, gymnasium, and rooftop skating rink. A music gifted class was established in 1990.

成功國小最早於1941年（昭和16年）以「基隆壽國民學校」（今信義國小）分教場的形式創立。1958年（民國47年）9月因鄰近學校容量已滿，為服務仁愛區日益增加的人口而獨立設校。至1962年（民國51年），學校已發展至60餘班，一度是基隆市規模最大的國小。1968年（民國57年）定名為成功國小，1986年（民國75年）完成大型學生活動中心，內設圖書館、音樂廳、體育館及屋頂溜冰場，1990年（民國79年）成立音樂資優班。
