From a branch classroom to an eco-award winner.
Kelin Elementary began in July 1951 as a branch class of Shun'an National Elementary School. It was transferred to become a branch of Guangxing Elementary in 1955, upgraded to a full branch school in 1960, and became fully independent in August 1964. In recent years, the school has earned a Taiwan-US Eco-Schools Silver Award, recognition as a Ministry of Education Climate-Friendly School, and Silver Certification in the international Health-Promoting Schools program.
柯林國小於民國40年（1951年）7月以順安國民學校分班形式創立。民國44年（1955年）轉為廣興國小分校，民國49年（1960年）升格為分校，並於民國53年（1964年）8月正式獨立設校。近年來，學校榮獲台美生態學校銀牌獎、教育部氣候友善學校認證，以及國際健康促進學校計畫銀質認證。
