Nearly a century of educating Keelung's students.

National Keelung Senior High traces its history back to March 31, 1927, when it was approved as "Taihoku Prefecture Keelung Middle School" under Japanese colonial rule. The school moved to a new campus in Badou in 1929. After Taiwan's retrocession, it was renamed Taiwan Provincial Keelung Senior High in 1970 following a merger with the senior division of Keelung Municipal First Middle School, and became "National Keelung Senior High School" in 2000. In 2018, the school began admitting female students, becoming fully coeducational after nine decades as a boys' school.
