National Keelung Girls' Senior High School

National Keelung Girls' Senior High School was founded on April 23, 1924 as "Taihoku Prefecture Keelung Girls' High School" under Japanese rule, with the Japanese educator Kondo Renzo as its first principal. The school initially borrowed space from Keelung Ordinary Higher Elementary School, then from Keelung Public School, before its own main building was completed in 1926. After the Second World War it was renamed "Taiwan Provincial Keelung Girls' Middle School," and in 1970 it ended its junior-high division to become a senior-high-only school. It became a national school under its current name in 2000.

基隆女中創校於1924年（大正13年）4月23日，前身為「臺北州立基隆高等女學校」，首任校長為日籍教育家近藤廉治。學校初期借用基隆尋常高等小學校、後借用基隆公學校校舍，直到1926年（大正15年）主要校舍才完工啟用。二戰後改名「臺灣省立基隆女子中學」，1970年（民國59年）廢止初中部，改為僅招收高中部的學校，2000年（民國89年）改制為國立學校，定名至今。
