Kaohsiung Industrial Vocational High School

Kaohsiung Industrial Vocational High School, commonly called 高雄高工 or 雄工, was founded in 1942 under Japanese rule as 高雄州立高雄工業學校, part of a wartime push to build up industrial education in Kaohsiung's heavy-industry corridor. It is counted among Taiwan's "eight major provincial industrial schools" (八大省立工業學校), a group of vocational schools that trained generations of the island's technical workforce. Today the school enrolls roughly 2,400 to 2,550 students across ten departments and sits adjacent to the Jiangong campus of National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology.

高雄市立高雄高級工業職業學校，一般稱為「高雄高工」或「雄工」，創立於1942年（日治時期），前身為「高雄州立高雄工業學校」，是日本戰時在高雄重工業走廊推動工業教育的一環，也是台灣「八大省立工業學校」之一，培育出無數技術人才。如今全校約2,400至2,550名學生，分佈於十個科別，校地緊鄰高雄科技大學建工校區。
