Jinping Elementary School

Jinping Elementary was founded in 1933, during the Japanese colonial era, and sits below Raro Mountain on a hillside on the north side of the Naluo River in Jianshi Township. It is a tiny school — just over 40 students in total — serving the area's Atayal Indigenous community. Music is central to how the school passes on Atayal culture: its curriculum features traditional Atayal folk songs, a wooden xylophone ensemble, and a choir. Alongside its library, the school also operates a community reading station, extending its role beyond the classroom.

錦屏國小創立於1933年（日治時期），座落於尖石鄉那羅溪北岸、拉羅山下的山坡地帶。全校學生僅40餘人，服務當地泰雅族原住民社區。音樂是學校傳承泰雅文化的核心方式：課程特色包括泰雅族傳統歌謠、木片琴合奏團與合唱團。除了圖書室之外，學校也設有社區閱讀站，將教育觸角延伸至課堂之外。
