One school, three stages, one Jinning community.
Jinning Junior High/Elementary School was founded in the fall of 1966 as "Kinmen County Jinning Junior High School," opening with just 157 students taught in rented houses in Panshan Village while permanent buildings were still under construction. Those buildings were completed the following year. In 1968, when nine-year compulsory education began nationwide, the school merged with the nearby Anmei School (itself formed the year before) and absorbed a branch of Guning Elementary, taking on its current name and combined structure. Today it is the only school in Kinmen County that brings junior high, elementary, and kindergarten together under one administration, and it has celebrated its 55th anniversary as a fixture of the Jinning community.
