Taipei Municipal Jinhua Elementary School

Jinhua Elementary was founded in August 1975 and opened on September 5 of that year, built to relieve overcrowding at Dongmen Elementary after the city rezoned a plot originally reserved for a relocated Heping Hospital into a school lot in 1973. It opened with just five first-grade classes and thirteen transferred classes (grades 2–6) from Xing'an and Dongmen elementary schools, growing to 28 classes within a year. Together with neighboring Jinhua Junior High, the school forms a celebrated “star” dual school district — among the most sought-after, and most expensive, school-zone property markets in Taipei.

金華國小創立於民國64年（1975年）8月，同年9月5日正式開學，設校目的為紓解東門國小的擁擠情形——原訂作為和平醫院遷建用地的地塊，於1973年改劃為校地。開校時僅設5個一年級新班，並自幸安、東門兩校轉入13班（二至六年級），一年內即擴增至28班。與鄰近的金華國中組成台北知名的「明星學區」，是全市房價最高的學區之一。
