Jingguo Junior High School

Jingguo Junior High's preparatory office was established in 2005, hosted at nearby Wenchang Junior High, before the school formally opened in 2007 and admitted its first cohort that year. Its third-phase campus buildings were completed in December 2009 and put into use in 2010. The school was renamed to Taoyuan Municipal in the December 2014 reorganization. Notably, the Taoyuan City Government announced plans around 2022 to convert and expand the school into a senior high — "Jingguo Senior High" (經國高中) — with bilingual experimental classes and business/commerce programs, with new admissions intended to begin from the 112 academic year, a sign of continued growth in the surrounding Jingguo Special District (經國特區).

經國國中籌備處於民國94年（2005年）成立，暫設於鄰近的文昌國中，並於民國96年（2007年）正式設校招生。第三期校舍工程於民國98年（2009年）12月完工，民國99年（2010年）啟用。2014年12月隨桃園縣升格直轄市，正式更名為桃園市立經國國民中學。值得一提的是，桃園市政府約於2022年公布計畫，擬將學校轉型擴編為高級中學（經國高中），並開設雙語實驗班與商業類科，預計自112學年度起招生，反映經國特區周邊持續發展的趨勢。
