Jilin Elementary School

Jilin Elementary School was founded in 1965, taking its name from its location at the intersection of Changchun Road and Jilin Road in Zhongshan District. In November 2025, the school celebrated its 60th anniversary with a large ceremony and athletic performance event, marking six decades of continuous operation.

The school's vision statement emphasizes being "forward-looking, caring, and growth-oriented" (前瞻、關愛、成長), aiming to cultivate students with an international perspective and humanistic care — values reflected in its position within the dense grid of mainland-China-named streets that define much of Zhongshan District's postwar street layout.

吉林國小創校於1965年（民國54年），校名取自校址所在的長春路與吉林路交會口。2025年（民國114年）11月，學校舉辦盛大的六十週年校慶暨活力運動會，慶祝建校六十週年。

學校願景強調「前瞻、關愛、成長」，期望培育具有國際視野與人文關懷的學生——這樣的理念也呼應了學校所在中山區戰後以中國大陸城市命名之街道棋盤格局的歷史脈絡。
