Jianshan Elementary School was established on May 21, 1921, as a satellite classroom of Toufen Public School known as "Jianshan-xia." Classes were originally held in a small rural slaughterhouse before permanent facilities were built. The school celebrated its centennial in June 2022 with the opening of a new comprehensive sports field, and today it is known for strong, award-winning programs in calligraphy, ocarina (陶笛), soccer, and track and field.
尖山國小創立於1921年（民國10年）5月21日，最初為頭份公學校的分教場，稱為「尖山下」。創校初期借用鄉間一間小型屠宰場上課，之後才興建正式校舍。學校於2022年6月舉辦建校百年校慶，並啟用全新綜合運動場。如今學校在書法、陶笛、足球及田徑項目上皆有優異且屢獲獎項的表現。
