A century of school spirit — on and off the field.
Jiangmei Elementary's origins trace to 1909, when it began as a branch of Baisha Island Public School. It became independent as "Gangwei Public School" (港尾公學校) in 1922, was renamed "Jiangmei National School" in 1955, and took its current name in 1968. The school marked its 100th anniversary with a special celebration attended by leadership from the Penghu County Council, and today it is best known as a local "baseball legend" school.
