Qieba Elementary School was founded on April 1, 1917, as “Qieba Public School” at Beiziding, originating as a branch of Wanli (Shanhua) Public School before moving to its present Qieba site in 1920 and becoming independent in 1921. It was renamed “Shandong National School” in 1933 and “Shanhua Town No. 2 National School” in 1946, before taking its present name, Tainan City Shanhua District Qieba Elementary School, in December 2010. The school is now on its 12th principal as of August 2024.
茄拔國小創立於大正6年（1917年）4月1日，設於北仔頂，初名「茄拔公學校」，原為灣裡（善化）公學校分校，大正9年（1920年）遷至現今茄拔校址，大正10年（1921年）獨立設校。昭和8年（1933年）改名「善東國民學校」，民國35年（1946年）改稱「善化鎮第二國民學校」，民國99年（2010年）12月定名為現今的「臺南市善化區茄拔國民小學」。截至2024年8月，學校已歷經12任校長。
