Hukou Senior High School

Hukou Senior High School traces its roots to 1953 as a branch of Hsinchu Middle School serving Hukou Township. It grew into an independent complete middle school in 1997, offering both junior and senior high divisions, and took its current name in 2003. For decades the senior and junior high divisions operated together as a single "complete middle school" on shared grounds, before formally splitting into two separate institutions in August 2025. Today Hukou Senior High stands as the township's only senior high school, offering both general academic and vocational tracks.

新竹縣立湖口高級中學前身可追溯至民國42年（1953年）新竹中學湖口分部，民國86年（1997年）獨立設立為完全中學，涵蓋國中部與高中部，並於民國92年（2003年）更名為現名。長期以來，國中部與高中部以「完全中學」形式共用校區，直到民國114年（2025年）8月正式分立為兩所獨立學校。如今，湖口高中是湖口鄉唯一的高級中學，同時提供普通學程與職業學程。
