Huiji Junior High School

Huiji Junior High's planning was commissioned to Wenchang Junior High principal Li Li-ching in June 2000, with a preparatory office established in August 2002. The school formally opened in August 2004 with seven first-year classes under founding principal Jian Ru-ji (簡如姬). Its new campus buildings were completed in June 2007, with a full inauguration ceremony and sports day held that November. It was renamed to Taoyuan Municipal in the December 2014 reorganization. Its name, "Kuaiji" (會稽), references a classical Chinese place name in present-day Zhejiang, part of a wider Taiwanese practice of naming schools after mainland Chinese historical and geographic terms.

會稽國中的籌設規劃於民國89年（2000年）6月委由文昌國中校長李麗卿負責，籌備處於民國91年（2002年）8月成立，並於民國93年（2004年）8月正式開校，首屆招收七個班級，由創校校長簡如姬領軍。新校舍於民國96年（2007年）6月完工，同年11月舉行落成典禮暨運動會。2014年12月隨桃園縣升格直轄市，更名為桃園市立會稽國民中學。校名「會稽」取自今浙江境內的古地名，延續台灣以大陸歷史地理名稱為學校命名的傳統。
