Hualien County Physical Education Senior High School

Hualien County Physical Education Senior High School was established in 2001 as the Hualien County Physical Education Experimental Senior High School, using athletic facilities left over from the first National Intermediate School Games held in Hualien — and was renamed to its current name in 2016. It remains a small, highly specialized school with roughly 146 students, offering nine sports tracks including track and field, archery, weightlifting, women's soccer, baseball, basketball, canoeing, taekwondo, and boxing. The school has also taken over eastern Taiwan's youth baseball development legacy after two other local schools' baseball teams disbanded.

花蓮體中創立於民國90年（2001年），初名「花蓮縣立體育實驗高級中學」，利用花蓮首屆全國中等學校運動會遺留的運動設施建校，並於2016年更名為現名。學校規模小而專精，學生人數約146人，設有田徑、射箭、舉重、女子足球、棒球、籃球、獨木舟、跆拳道、拳擊等九項運動培訓。在東台灣另外兩校棒球隊解散後，花蓮體中也接下了東台灣青棒發展的重任。
