Hexing Elementary School

Hexing Elementary is a small, rural school in Hukou Township, Hsinchu County, currently enrolling roughly 70 to 80 students — a scale that has led local officials to discuss the possibility of consolidating it with the nearby, more crowded Xinhu Elementary School. Despite its small size, Hexing maintains an active curriculum promoting indigenous and local-language education, calligraphy, and disaster-prevention training, giving students a close, community-centered learning environment.

和興國小是新竹縣湖口鄉的一所小型鄉村學校，目前學生人數約在70至80人之間——這樣的規模也讓地方官員曾討論是否應與學生數過多的鄰近新湖國小合併。儘管規模不大，和興國小仍積極推動原住民與本土語言教育、書法教學及防災訓練，為學生提供緊密且以社區為核心的學習環境。
