Hesheng Junior High School

Hesheng Junior High School was founded in 1974 because Pingtung City's existing four junior highs — Mingzheng, Zhongzheng, Gongzheng, and Datong — could no longer absorb the city's rapidly growing student population amid its economic boom. The school was built on land provided by Heh Sheng Elementary School, hence sharing its name. Its junior varsity baseball team, formed in 1990, won the national championship within two years and went on to represent Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) at the Far East youth baseball championship.

鶴聲國中創立於民國63年（1974年），因屏東市原有明正、中正、公正、大同四所國中已無法容納經濟起飛期急速增加的學生人數而設立。校地由鶴聲國小提供，故沿用其名。其少棒隊成立於民國79年（1990年），成軍兩年內即奪得全國冠軍，並代表中華台北出賽遠東區青少棒錦標賽。
