Taipei Municipal Heping Senior High School

Heping Senior High traces back to April 1949, when its predecessor, the Taipei Municipal Junior Agricultural Vocational School, was founded; it became a senior high on July 1, 1994. As the only public senior high located within Da'an District proper, it is a “complete school” spanning both junior and senior divisions, with roughly 1,386 students, 40 classes, and 181 staff. Its campus site was actually reserved back in 1941 for a Japanese-era school, Taihoku Prefecture's 4th Middle School, a plan shelved by the outbreak of World War II — so the school now marks its founding anniversary on the day ground was finally broken, May 3.

和平高中創校可追溯至民國38年（1949年）4月，前身為「臺北市立初級農業職業學校」；民國83年（1994年）7月1日增設高中部並更名為和平高中。作為大安區境內唯一一所市立高中，學校為涵蓋國中與高中部的「完全中學」，目前約有1,386名學生、40個班級及181位教職員。校地其實早在1941年日治時期便已預留，原規劃興建「臺北州立第四中學校」，因二戰爆發而擱置，因此學校特以動土典禮的5月3日作為校慶日。
