Hedi Elementary School

Hedi Elementary School was founded on February 1, 1958, as a branch campus of neighboring Yingqiao (螢橋) Elementary School, becoming a fully independent school on August 1 of that same year. It was originally sited on the southwest side of "old Guting village" (舊古亭莊) along the Xindian River bank, in an area now covered by Jinjiang Street and Roosevelt Road Sections 1–2. The school established a computer classroom in 1995 and formed a teachers' association in 1996, marking steady modernization through the late 20th century.

河堤國小於民國47年（1958年）2月1日創立，最初為鄰近螢橋國小之分校，同年8月1日獨立設校，稱「河堤國校」。校址原位於新店溪畔「舊古亭莊」西南側，即今日晉江街及羅斯福路一、二段一帶。本校於民國84年（1995年）設立電腦教室，民國85年（1996年）成立教師會，見證了20世紀末的持續現代化。
