Haiduan Junior High School

Haiduan Junior High sits in Haiduan Village at the foot of the Central Mountain Range, near the start of the Southern Cross-Island Highway. As the sole junior high serving all of Haiduan Township, it draws students from Bunun Indigenous communities scattered across a wide, mountainous district — some traveling considerable distances from villages along the highway corridor. The school runs health promotion, science exhibition, and anti-bullying and drug-prevention programs alongside its regular curriculum.

海端國中位於中央山脈山腳下的海端村，鄰近南橫公路起點。身為海端鄉唯一的國中，學校招收來自鄉內各布農族部落的學生，部分學生需從南橫公路沿線的部落長途通勤而來。學校除正規課程外，也推動健康促進、科展及反霸凌與反毒教育。
