Guishan Junior High School began as a preparatory office at Shoushan Junior High in 2002, formally opened its doors to its first seventh-grade class in 2004, and reached municipal status in 2014. It now operates 39 classes across all three grades, including a diversified learning center, special-education classes, and a competitive athletics program launched in 2009 with dedicated baseball and shooting teams.
龜山國中前身為2002年設於壽山國中的籌備處,2004年正式招收第一屆七年級新生,2014年改制為市立學校。目前全校三個年級共39個班級,設有多元學習中心、特教班,並自2009年起成立棒球與射擊重點運動代表隊。
