Guanyin Senior High School

Guanyin Senior High traces back to 1955, when it opened as the Guanyin branch of Yangmei Middle School. It became an independent junior high in 1968, and in 2012 it was upgraded into a full “complete middle school” (完全中學) spanning both junior-high and senior-high divisions under the name Taoyuan County Guanyin Senior High School. The school was renamed municipal in 2014 when Taoyuan became a special municipality, and adopted its current full name in 2018. As of 2017 it enrolled roughly 894 senior-high students across 27 classes and 762 junior-high students across 24 classes, making it a sizable anchor campus for secondary education in Guanyin.

觀音高中的歷史可追溯至民國44年（1955年），創校時為楊梅中學觀音分部，民國57年（1968年）獨立為觀音國中，民國101年（2012年）改制為兼具國中部與高中部的完全中學，定名「桃園縣立觀音高級中學」。民國103年（2014年）桃園升格直轄市後更名市立，民國107年（2018年）確立現今全名。截至2017年，全校高中部約894名學生（27班）、國中部約762名學生（24班），是觀音區規模可觀的中等教育重鎮。
