Guanxi Elementary School

Guanxi Elementary is the township's oldest and central flagship elementary school — so central, in fact, that it once hosted Guanxi Junior High's very first classes in 1955, before that school had its own campus. Today it runs a baseball team and a range of after-school clubs, alongside a distinctive Chinese-classics curriculum built around a "Tang Poetry and Song Lyrics" recitation system and calligraphy instruction, complemented by English, Hakka, and Hoklo language programs.

關西國小是關西鎮歷史最悠久、地位最核心的指標性小學——甚至在1955年，尚未擁有自己校舍的關西國中曾借用此校教室開辦首屆班級。如今學校經營棒球隊與多元課後社團，並發展出以「唐詩宋詞」吟誦系統與書法教學為核心的國學特色課程，輔以英語、客語與閩南語課程。
