Guangrong Elementary School

Guangrong Elementary School was formally established in 1975 (ROC 64), following a preparatory phase that began in 1974, though its roots trace back to 1957 when Chung-Hsing New Village — the planned garden city built as the Taiwan Provincial Government's relocated seat — was first established. Located within Chung-Hsing New Village itself, the school carries forward the area's distinctive planning heritage. Its soccer team placed second in the Nantou County U10 Football Competition, and the school won first place county-wide in the 114th academic year's upper-grade reading and writing assessment.

光榮國小於民國64年（1975年）正式設校，此前歷經民國63年（1974年）的籌備階段，但校史根源可追溯至1957年中興新村創立之初——當時作為台灣省政府遷移駐地而規劃興建的花園城市。學校座落於中興新村範圍內，延續了此地獨特的規劃城市傳統。足球隊曾在南投縣U10足球賽中獲得亞軍，並在114學年度全縣高年級讀寫評量中榮獲第一名。
