Guandu Elementary School

Guandu Elementary opened on April 1, 1921, as a branch classroom of Beitou Public School, holding its first classes inside the Lingshan Temple (靈山宮). It became independent as Guandu Public School in 1928, giving it over 100 years of history. The school was renamed multiple times through the Yangmingshan Administration era before settling on its current Taipei City name in 1974. Its own history describes the campus as encircled on three sides by the tail of the Datun mountain range, with Guanyin Mountain rising across the river.

關渡國小創校於大正10年（1921年）4月1日，最初為北投公學校分教場，首批課程在靈山宮內開辦。大正17年（1928年）獨立設校，稱為關渡公學校，至今已有超過百年歷史。學校歷經陽明山管理局時期多次更名，於民國63年（1974年）確立現今的臺北市立校名。校史記載，校園三面環繞大屯山系尾端，隔岸可望觀音山。
