Tainan Municipal Gongyuan Elementary School

Gongyuan Elementary School was founded on October 1, 1898, as "Tainan Elementary School," first located inside the historic Tainan Confucius Temple. It was renamed several times over the following decades — Tainan Ordinary Higher Elementary School in 1901, Tainan First Ordinary Higher Elementary School in 1915 — before relocating in 1923 to the Hanayama ("Flower Garden") district and being renamed accordingly. After the 1945 handover it became Tainan City Second National School in 1946, then Tainan City North District Gongyuan National School in 1947. Over 125 years old, Gongyuan is one of the oldest elementary schools in Tainan. Its original 1923 main building was designated a Tainan City historic building in 2003, and the school holds a AAA-level government web-accessibility certification.

公園國小創立於1898年（明治31年）10月1日，初名「臺南小學校」，最初設於臺南孔廟內。歷經多次更名：1901年改稱「台南尋常高等小學校」，1915年改稱「台南第一尋常高等小學校」，1923年遷至花園町，改名「台南市花園尋常高等小學校」。1945年後改為「台南市第二國民學校」（1946年），1947年定名「台南市北區公園國民學校」。學校已逾125年歷史，是臺南市最古老的國小之一。原1923年主建築「原花園尋常小學校本館」於2003年7月10日獲登錄為臺南市歷史建築，學校並取得政府網站無障礙AAA等級認證。
