National Gaoke Experimental School

National Gaoke Experimental School received Ministry of Education approval in May 2023 and was formally established on August 1, 2025, as a national school under the National Science and Technology Council. Despite the "Gaoke" (高科) name it shares with National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, the school is administratively independent from the university. It is currently operating temporarily on the campus of Youchang Junior High School in Nanzi District while its permanent campus in Ciaotou's planned "New Town" is built, with a target completion around 2028. The school spans grades 7 through 12, including a bilingual division, and is designed to serve the children of science-park workers and returning or foreign professionals.

國立高科實驗高級中等學校於2023年5月獲教育部核准設校，2025年（民國114年）8月1日正式成立，隸屬於國家科學及技術委員會的國立學校。雖然校名中有「高科」二字，但與國立高雄科技大學在行政上並無隸屬關係。學校目前暫借楠梓區右昌國中校地上課，未來將遷入橋頭新市鎮的永久校區，預計約2028年完工。學校涵蓋國中部與高中部（7至12年級），並設有雙語部，主要服務科學園區員工子女及返國或外籍專業人士的子女。
