A hamlet school with a wide range of activities.
Fuji Elementary opened in 1942, during the Japanese colonial era, as the "Fuji Branch School" of Gongguan National School, founded to serve rural children from the Fuji, Shiqiang, Fude, and Kaikuang areas who would otherwise face a long journey to the township's main school. Today, as a designated Hakka-language feature school, it offers a wide range of student activities — basketball, tee-ball, a taiko drum team, an ocarina team, an English village program, a laser-cutting course, and career-exploration lessons.
