Fengxi Elementary School

Fengxi Elementary School was established in August 1989, with its first classes initially held at nearby Fengshan Elementary School while its own campus was under construction; phase-one buildings were completed in May 1990. The school marked its 30th anniversary in 2018 and today runs 53 classes in total — 40 regular classes, four art-talent classes, two resource classes, four kindergarten classes, and three special-education classes — with the art-talent program running continuously since 1992. Fengxi is a genuinely separate institution from Fengshan Elementary School's brief 1941–1945 wartime name, "鳳山西國民學校," despite the similar sound.

鳳西國小創校於民國78年（1989年）8月，初期借用鄰近的鳳山國小教室上課，同時興建自己的校舍，第一期校舍於1990年5月完工。學校於2018年慶祝創校三十週年，現有53班，包括40個普通班、4個美術資優班、2個資源班、4個幼兒園班、3個特教班，其中美術資優班自1992年持續至今。儘管名稱相似，鳳西國小與鳳山國小1941至1945年間曾使用的舊名「鳳山西國民學校」實為兩所毫無關聯的獨立學校。
