Dunhua Junior High School

Dunhua Junior High opened on July 1, 1987, after a preparatory office was established in 1985 under founding director Wu Wu-hsiung; a second construction phase and student activity center followed in 1990. Located in the affluent Dunhua/East District corridor that grew up around the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and the Xinyi–Songshan commercial belt, Dunhua is regarded as one of Taipei's "public school five tigers" (公立五虎) — the five most sought-after municipal junior highs, alongside Zhongzheng, Longmen, Jinhua, and Jieshou — and is among the largest junior highs in the city, with roughly 23 to 24 classes per grade level.

敦化國中於民國76年（1987年）7月1日創校，民國74年（1985年）由首任主任吳武雄成立籌備處，民國79年（1990年）4月完成第二期工程與學生活動中心。學校位於敦化／東區一帶精華地段，鄰近松山文創園區與信義松山商圈，是台北市公立「五虎」國中之一——與中正、龍門、金華、介壽並列全市家長心目中最搶手的公立國中之一，每個年級約有23至24個班級，是全市規模最大的國中之一。
