A small school shared by two villages.
Dongwei Elementary was established around 1958 and serves the joint school district of Dongwei and Anzhai villages, two small communities on the edge of Magong City. It is a genuinely small school — around 92 students and staff combined in recent years — and it makes the most of its size with a broad range of program specialties, including local/native-place education, science and IT, fine arts, calligraphy, recorder ensemble, and classic-recitation education.
