Delong Elementary School

Delong Elementary was founded in 1982 in a quiet, rural part of Longtan District. It is a small school of roughly 300-plus students, notable for a music tradition in which nearly half the student body learns harmonica and recorder starting from the mid-elementary grades. The school is slated for eventual relocation to the "Longke Phase 3" (龍科三期) resettlement area under a "build-first-then-move" plan, with a new sister campus, Meilong Elementary, planned nearby — a reflection of the ongoing development pressure brought by the expanding Longtan Science Park.

德龍國小創立於民國71年（1982年），位於龍潭區一處寧靜的鄉村地帶。全校學生約300餘人，規模不大，但音樂傳統深厚——近半數學生自中年級起學習口琴與直笛。學校因龍潭科學園區擴建，未來將依「先建後遷」模式遷至「龍科三期」安置區，並規劃鄰近設立姊妹校「梅龍國小」，反映出當地因科技產業發展而面臨的變遷壓力。
