Da-Ye Elementary was founded in 1997 as a branch campus of Qingxi Elementary before becoming an independent school. It sits at the foot of Huweishan (Tiger Head Mountain) along the Nankan River in Taoyuan District's eastern side, about 3.5 kilometers from the Sun Yat-sen Freeway interchange, in a school-zone area rich with educational institutions. The school's vision is built around four symbolic images — a whole person, a sunlit eye, a butterfly's dream, and a radiant flower — captured in its motto "Healthy, Happy, New Dayou" (健康快樂新大業).
大業國小創立於民國86年（1997年），最初為青溪國小分校，後獨立設校。校址位於桃園區東側虎頭山下、南崁溪畔，距中山高速公路交流道約3.5公里，周邊文教機構林立。學校願景以「完整的人、陽光的眼、蝴蝶的夢、綻放的花」四個意象為核心，體現於「健康快樂新大業」的校訓精神。
