Daping Elementary School

Daping Elementary School is a small rural school in Tougou Village, serving a district that also covers Sigou and Qiehu villages. As of the 2022 academic year, it enrolled about 66 students across 6 classes, supported by 12 teachers and 2 staff. What sets Daping apart is baseball: it is the only elementary school on the entire Hengchun Peninsula with a youth baseball team, alongside a slate of programs that includes English classes, professional music instruction, joint sports festivals, English picture-book reading, and baseball winter and summer camps. Campus facilities include a library, playground, computer classroom, and gymnasium.

大平國小是頭溝里的一所小型鄉村學校，學區涵蓋頭溝、四溝與茄湖等村里。111學年度統計約有66名學生、6個班級，由12位教師與2位職員支持運作。大平最與眾不同之處在於棒球——它是恆春半島唯一設有少棒隊的國小，此外還有英語課程、專業音樂指導、聯合運動會、英語繪本閱讀，以及棒球寒暑訓等多元課程。校內設有圖書館、操場、電腦教室與體育館等設施。
