Taipei Municipal Da'an Junior High School

Da'an Junior High was established on July 3, 1961, as Taipei Municipal Da'an Junior Middle School under the era's “province runs senior high, city runs junior high” policy, and took its present name in 1968 with the start of nine-year compulsory education. Originally a boys-only school, it began admitting girls in 1989 and moved to fully coeducational classes in 1998. Today it enrolls around 1,100 students and 115 faculty, offering dedicated Go (weiqi) classes alongside its standard academic and PE curriculum. A brand-new campus building was formally inaugurated on December 18, 2024.

大安國中創立於民國50年（1961年）7月3日，初名「臺北市立大安初級中學」，為當時「省辦高中、市辦初中」政策下設立；民國57年（1968年）九年國教實施後改為現名。學校原為男校，1989年起招收女生，1998年全面實施男女合班。目前約有1,100名學生、115位教師，除一般學科與體育課程外，亦開設圍棋專班。2024年12月18日，全新校舍正式啟用。
